Oh geez! Today was a day filled with information. From 9am to 4pm Jeff and other people working in our lab spoke about the work that's going on. The good thing about our lab is that the people in it are actually quite interesting and animated so it didn't get boring too quickly :) Also, Liz and I had to present a brief explanation about the layers of the cornea and some details about Lasik eye surgery.
For lunch Liz and I snagged some pizza from the fishbowl because it was for us(!!), but then we went out to the intern cookout and had more food! We stayed there for about an hour and then went back into the presentation.
After the presentation was over, lots of people spoke about their projects and some of them sounded slightly intriguing. I left at 4:30 because I had to get prepared for HARRY POTTER <33333
